On The Last Breath

Even when the crowd prepare to leave
when other horses stop to rest
even when no one there is left to defeat,
I will keep running

I will be called strong or brave - most likely insane
I will be applauded; I will be called the One

They will admire me for my speed
but I will be ashamed of confessing,
that I'm running because I'm not allowed to stop,
because it's not yet the very last breath

I was told since birth to run till the very last breath.
I was told to run till I simply could not breathe
Otherwise, it would be called defeat !!

Please stop applauding me,
Let me breathe
Let me breathe

On Life's Throat

Life is shewing on me
I hope it swallows me
because I won't stop in its throat this time

On If it Ever Comes!

If you are still waiting for it

because you know it will appear one day
Then just do anything for it:
swim after it, cry for it, sink for it, die for it

Just do anything and everything for it

For if it ever comes

It will never notice the one who just sat waiting for it

If it ever comes!

On The Life in Your Years

"And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count.
It's the life in your years"

On Asking a Question

If you feared wolves as a kid,

But started to envy them as an adult

Should you be concerned?!

On Punctuation

Dear Pilot,
Punctuate, please!
Add a comma here;
a semicolon there
Don't spill your message like this
For only when you punctuate
We, your audience, can breath

Dear Ignorant Audience,
You realize the nobility of my letters
But you will never guess
That my writing style is unique:
No quotations
No brackets
No Question; no exclamation marks
No spaces
No dashes
And needless to say,
I use no periods

Let me explain with my own words
How to join the free world
After the colon
My definition will be read
....

On Applauding from a Seat

We feel your pain , little bird
We feel your fear, little hero
We feel your hunger and defeat

But, we have to admit:
We do enjoy the scene
For we all need to watch someone lose
We need to see someone retreat

That reminds us of how lucky we are
That we only fight battles of our size
That we fight only the enemies we create

When you fall, little bird
We will say that we love you
That we feel your anger
We will assure you that we know how it feels

Do not surrender, little bird
Not yet, please
We just brought a few seats
